Nahush and his parents meet Ashok Sundari. Ayu promises to get Nahush married to Ashok Sundari when he becomes eligible for marriage. Mahadev is impressed by his devotees Aahuk and Aahuka and grants them a boon that they will take birth as King Nal and Queen Damayanti.

Ganesha and Kartikay prepare for the race. During the race, Indradev cheats by capturing Kartikay. Meanwhile, Ganesh worships the Shivaling. Kartikay completes the race, but Mahadev announces Ganesha as the winner.
